Creating a Product Risk File

NOTE: If a risk assessment exists for a product, a product risk file cannot be created for the same product.

  1. From the portal Page, click the Home tab at the top of the window.
  2. In the Setup and Policy section, click Setup.
  3. In the Risk section, click Product Risk File.
    Result: The Product Risk File list window is displayed.
  4. In the Product Risk File list window, click Add New Record.
    Result: The Create Product Risk File window is displayed.
  5. Zoom to select the product for the product risk file. Once the product is selected, the product status is displayed. For information on configuration, see Parts.

NOTE: Only one product risk file can be created for each product.

  1. Enter a description of the product risk file.
  2. Add any applicable attachments.
  3. Click the Submit button.
    Result: The Result window is displayed. The Result window is a window that displays after submission and asks the user where they would like to go next, such as to the Product Risk File Detail, or back to the Portal Page.
